The RSC Kent Local Section will be running their first Curling day on 29th November 2014, hosted by Fenton's rink. The venue is located at Dundale Farm, Dundale Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN3 9AQ.
Curling has been an Olympic Winter sport since 1988 and is one of the few events everyone can try. Further information can be found at http://www.fentonsrink.co.uk. It is suitable for young and old, and can be played as a social or competitive sport. As England's only dedicated ice curling rink, Fenton's offers a unique opportunity for people in the south to give curling a go.
We will meet at 12:30 in the Club Lounge for lunch before getting on the ice at 14:00. The cost is £25 per person and is open to members and guests aged over 11. This price includes a hot lunch consisting of Lasagne & Mixed Leaf Salad & Bread followed by Lemon Drizzle Cake Traybake, 2 hours of curling with shoes, equipment and coaches provided.
