The third Dalton Transactions International Symposium on bioinorganic chemistry was held in Japan in November 2011. The purpose of RSC journal symposia was to bring together scientists in a stimulating and friendly environment that would foster collaborations between the researchers and the universities involved in the meetings. The Dalton Transactions symposium featured a selection of lectures reflecting the academic and industrial breadth of the field of bioinorganic chemistry.
The symposium was supported by Dalton Transactions, the leading European journal for inorganic, bioinorganic and organometallic chemistry, from RSC Publishing.
