Our speaker is Dr Gwenda McIntyre PhD, CSci, CChem, FRSC. Gwenda is Chair of our East Midlands Local Section and National Sector Lead for Carbon Capture and Net Zero for the Environment Agency National Permitting Service. The presentation will look at the chemical science aspects and challenges of regulating carbon dioxide capture. Following the presentation we will present prizes to the 2022/2023 undergraduate 1st year practical prizes and end our evening with a buffet supper.
