Scottish initial teacher education professional learning conference

Introduction
This virtual event has been designed for student teachers of science in Scotland in partnership with the Institute of Physics and the Royal Society of Biology. We invite student teachers of science across Scotland to join us for an afternoon of professional learning. The them of this years conference is 'Resilience and Professionalism'. The conference will be hosted on MS Teams. 

By the end of the day you will:
• Understand what support the learned societies can offer you now and throughout your teaching career
• Understand professional standards in teaching
• Meet experienced teachers of science and ask them questions
• Have tools which you can use to develop your own resilience and that of pupils
• Have had the opportunity to network with your fellow student teachers from across Scotland
