The Short Course is offered at in-person ISIMS conferences. The short course is suitable for individuals with varying levels of experience including those who are new to the field. All efforts will be made to accommodate the interests of the attendees with topics ranging from IMS fundamentals to a wide array of applications, including detection and structural identification of molecules. Lectures covered various forms of IMS (e.g., drift tube IMS, DMS, TWIMS, TIMS, cyclic IMS, AIMS), stand-alone IMS instrument and tandem systems (e.g., coupled to chromatograph and mass spectrometer).
