All PhD students, postdocs and early stage researchers working in the fields of peptide and protein chemistry are invited to present their work as oral or poster presentations. There will be 8-9 oral presentations, each 20 minutes with 5 minutes for questions, given by both PhD students and postdoctoral research workers, and a poster session. Prizes of £150 each for the best poster and the best oral presentation will be awarded. The day will close with a plenary lecture given by Professor Christian Hackenberger (Leibniz-Research Institute for Molecular Pharmacology and Humboldt University Berlin)
Abstracts should be 1 page in length, as either .pdf or Word, and should be submitted by email to Professor Alethea B Tabor: a.b.tabor@ucl.ac.uk
A limited number of travel bursaries will be available for PhD students. Students wishing to be considered for a travel bursary must submit their abstract (oral or poster) to Prof Tabor, with a covering email, by Friday 1st September.
This year the Early Stage Researcher Meeting on 14th September will be run back-to-back with the annual ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº and Biology of Peptides Meeting, which will take place at Durham University ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº Department on Friday 15th September. Details and registration are available at the following website:
