Schools' Analyst Competition: Midlands Heat (Wolverhampton)

Introduction
The Schools Analyst Competition is a national competition run by the RSC’s Analytical Division for Year 12s. The competition has two stages: regional heats and a national final, where up to 16 regional heat winners compete for the Challenge Shield and significant cash prizes for themselves and their schools. A regional heat for this competition will be held at the University of Wolverhampton, on Friday 16th February 2018.

Teams will compete in practical analytical challenges based on problems relevant to industrial or social needs.  Most of the tasks will be linked to the A-level curriculum, using equipment and concepts familiar to the students and some tasks will not be so familiar! It is designed to be both fun and educational.

Team Composition: Three Year 12 students 

Places are allocated on a first-come-first served basis. Schools can register more than one team, but are limited to registering a maximum of 3 teams.

Tickets will be bookable via Eventbrite from 11.09.17 at 09.00
