Final Year Undergraduate Student Consultations

12 May 2020 11:00-13:00, United Kingdom

This event is for RSC Members only

Introduction
During these uncertain times the ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº is providing one-to-one consultations for final year students with RSC membership, to complement the support open to you through your university careers service.

Please take up this chance to meet with a careers professional to discuss your career concerns about what lies ahead, the additional challenges of planning your future and to learn more about careers in chemistry. These consultations are available via phone, skype and zoom. Places are limited so be sure to book using the button on this page.

Your 30-minute consultation with an RSC career and professional development adviser will be tailored to you. Some of the areas you may wish to talk about are:
* Identifying your employability skills
* Maximising your LinkedIn profile and other social media
* Job search strategies
* Preparing for interviews

"After undertaking a mock interview with one of the careers advisers, I felt the advice and encouragement she gave me helped me secure an interview ... and I was offered the job!"

These sessions are available to final year undergraduate members who are RSC members. If you are unsure about your membership status and what support is available, then please contact the Career Management team or visit http://www.rsc.org/careers. We recommend those currently studying at undergraduate level access their university careers service in the first instance.
