Introduction
Anaïs graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Rennes (French Engineering College in Rennes) with an MSc degree in ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº in 2008. She then moved to Switzerland at the University of Neuchâtel in the group of Professor Robert Deschenaux to complete her PhD on mesomorphic properties of metallo-dendritic assemblies. She was awarded in 2012 a fellowship for prospective researchers from the Swiss National Science Foundation to undertake a one-year research project on cylindrical micelles under the guidance of Professor Rachel K. O’Reilly and Professor Andrew P. Dove at the University of Warwickhe group of Dr Nicolas Barry for six months to synthesise and analyse in situ precious metal nanocrystals by high-resolution electron microscopy. Anaïs rejoined the Dove groupnd thereafter the group of Dr Nicolas Barry at the University of Bradford early 2017 to work on the development of novel metal complexes for different applications such as anticancer drugs or nanomaterials. In September 2019, Anaïs began her independent career as a lecturer in inorganic chemistry at the University of Bradford, and returned to France for a position at the University of Paris in summer 2021. Anais will deliver an educational and entertaining lecture marrying molecules and music.
