6th RSC Energy Sector Early Career Symposium

Early Career Chemists working in or undertaking research in the energy field are invited to attend the 6th Early Career Energy Sector Symposium at The ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº, Burlington House, London, W1J 0BA on Monday 21st November 2022, from 10:00 to 16:00.​

This event is hosted by the RSC Energy Sector Interest Group with support from the RSC Environmental, Sustainability and Energy Community.
This event provides an opportunity to network with Energy Sector Industry professionals and is supported by the RSC careers team.

Abstract submissions are invited on any research topic relating to the Energy Sector. Abstracts must be submitted no later than Friday 4th November with successful applicants being invited to present a poster and short ‘flash’ presentation to the symposium.

Posters will be judged by RSC Energy Sector Committee members with prizes consisting of a 1st Prize, (£250), a 2nd Prize, (£100), and 3 x 3rd Prizes of £50 each.

This event is free for all to attend. 

RSC members are eligible for reasonable travel expense reimbursement.

Abstract and Poster Guidelines

Abstracts must be no longer than 300 words, one A4 page maximum, and submitted no later than midnight on Thursday 10th November 2022. Abstracts must contain a project title, institute or professional affiliation, authors and contact details for lead author. Please submit abstracts to Dr Xuebin Ke, x.ke@hull.ac.uk.

Successful candidates will be notified on Friday 11th November and invited to give a poster presentation AND short poster pitch, consisting of 2 slides maximum. Posters must be printed in A0 and in portrait format.
