The aim of the EAP weekend is to provide networking and continuing professional development (CPD) opportunities for early career analytical scientists across all disciplines, open to both industry and academia. Each year we include general interest talks as well as specialist lectures, CPD and career sessions. It is hosted by the Analytical Science Network, a group specifically for early career analytical scientists, funded by the Analytical ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº Trust Fund (ACTF) and managed by a group of volunteers.
The theme for EAP this year is "Art of Analysis", covering the beauty in analytical chemistry from microscopy to mass spectrometry and everything in between. We have confirmed speakers from both industry and academia, and are selecting oral abstracts now for our "bright sparks" talks from delegates. Our key aim is to foster the careers of present and prospective analytical scientists and to promote analytical science to a wider community.
The conference is being held at the Aztec Hotel and Spa, Bristol over the weekend of 14th May.
Registration includes conference attendance, accomodation and use of hotel spa, food throughout the weekend and the conference dinner with entertainment.
