Christian Doonan is Professor of chemistry at the University of Adelaide. He received his PhD at the University of Melbourne and carried out post-doctoral work with Professor Omar Yaghi at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research group focuses on the design and synthesis of metal-organic framework materials for application to biotechnology and catalysis. Christian is a member of the international MOF commission, and his research has been recognised through several awards including, an Australian Research Council Future Fellowship and a distinguished lectureship award from the Chemical Society of Japan.

Professor C Malla Reddy received his PhD in Crystal Engineering in 2006 from the University of Hyderabad and took up Post-Doctoral Research at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany (2007 – 2008). He had been an Honorary Visiting Scientist to University of Bradford (2015-18) and a recipient of the ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº’s Mobility Grant, Distinguished Lectureship Award from the Chemical Society of Japan (2017) and Swarnajayanti Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology, India. He is a Co-editor of Acta Crystallogr. B and served as an Associate Editor for RSC Advances in 2015-16. He served on the Local Organizing Committee of IUCr2017@Hyderabad, India. His research group is engaged in understanding mechanical properties of organic solids, including pharmaceutical and optoelectronic crystals. Some of his well-known contributions include the discovery of flexible elastic and plastic organic crystals, designing flexible crystals using Supramolecular Shape Synthons, etc.

Sally Howells-Wyllie is the Executive Editor of the ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº’s inorganic journals. Sally has worked in scientific publishing for over 15 years, following on from her Masters in Biochemistry from the University of Bath, UK. At the RSC she is responsible for setting, developing and implementing journal strategy, taking into account each journal’s strengths, areas for growth and defining the scope of each journal so they attract high-quality publications from around the world. She actively engages with the community to understand the needs of authors and readers, ensuring that high-quality research reaches the right audience.
Dr. Aparna Ganguly, Editorial Development Manager

Dr Aparna Ganguly completed her graduation and post- graduation in ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº from University of Delhi and subsequently obtained her PhD in Materials ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº under the supervision of Professor A. K. Ganguli at IIT Delhi. After a short stint at teaching Physical ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº at Central University of Rajasthan, she moved back to the Nanoscale Research Facility, IIT Delhi as a scientist where she worked extensively on porous materials and their applications. In 2014, she joined the ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº where she is currently the Editorial Development Manager and manages the journal portfolio and their growth in India. As a part of her role, she works quite extensively with the scientific community, various Indian chemical societies, and researchers across various disciplines of Chemical Sciences and support the journal teams.

Deepak Chopra is a professor in the Department of ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal, India. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Crystallography from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and carried out post-doctoral research at the University of Toledo, Ohio, in the field of X-ray Crystallography. He is a Co-Editor of Acta Crystallogr. E and a Fellow of the ¾ÅÖÝÓ°Ôº. His research group focuses on understanding the solid state photophysical properties, polymorphism and co-crystals, in situ cocrystallisation, mechanical properties of molecular crystals and crystal structure prediction
Dr Sanjog Nagarkar , IIT Bombay, India
Dr. Sanjog S. Nagarkar is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay India. Before joining IIT Bombay he worked with Prof. Susumu Kitagawa and Prof. Satoshi Horike at Kyoto University Japan as a JSPS and AIST postdoctoral fellow. He received his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Sujit K. Ghosh from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune India (2015). Prof. Nagarkar is a recipient of the IIT Bombay Young Faculty Award, Marie-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship, KAKENHI Wakate Grant for Early-Career Scientists, JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship, JSPS Hope Fellowship and was the finalist of the Reaxys Ph.D. prize. His research group works on the development of framework solids derived inorganic-organic hybrid glasses and porous liquids for clean energy and catalytic applications.
