Fully booked: ChemComm 60th Year Symposium - Indian Institute of Technology Madras

18 November 2024 10:00-17:00, Chennai, India

Introduction
Chemical Communications is celebrating its 60th year of serving the research community. Over the past 60 years, ChemComm has been the RSC’s most cited journal, and one of the most trusted venues for rapid publication of short communications. In our anniversary year, we recognise the important contributions ChemComm has made, and continues to make, in advancing the chemical sciences. In the same context, this symposium is aimed at providing researchers with a platform to interact and engage with the editors and board members on ChemComm.

Conducted at Indian Institute of Technology Madras, the symposium offers an exclusive opportunity to engage and interact with our associate editors, listen to their interesting research and put forward your queries and feedback for the journal. This interactive event is geared towards all stages of career from young PhDs to senior researchers and independent faculties.

It also offers an opportunity for the early career researchers (PhD students, post-docs) an opportunity to gain insights on writing research papers for maximum impact and understanding RSC’s peer review process. In addition, you can get a transparent view into the life cycle of a manuscript, we will share tips around how to submit your work, things to keep in mind and various RSC Journals that are available to publish for you.

This is an in-person event and is open to all, with registration as mandatory.
Participants need to make their own travel arrangements to attend the event.
